The Enchantment
Again, it feels like the forest behind your house
 So many memories
 Shallow moisture
Prickles the skin upon the face
 All leaves and stones
 Trickling water off treetops
Mysterious, forbidden territory beyond the brush
Expansive landscape, the world engulfs me
Nothings’ felt so large, yet insignificant
 Childhood, smothered in dirt
 Comforting, real
It was ok to simply live.
