This mask is just
A guise, you see
It's better for
Others and me
What I do feel
When it's not clear
Just play alaong
And don't come near
Though it might seem
As something more
It's not what I
Am looking for
You may think
I have enough
But it't not hard
For me to bluff
Im sitting here
Something I'm not
Wishing I'd rolled
A different lot
But God did not
Intend for me
The life I wish
Others would see
Without my love
Now by myself
A lonely queen
Amidst her wealth
So here I write
To you I speak
I'm crying out
As I grow weak
