They fell, both of them
Not one tower but two
The smoke, the smoke
All around them, all around them
The flames jumped
The country screamed
New-found widows dropped to their knees
Everyone’s crying
Families are dying
We stare on in sick fascination
As the world seems to come down
With those towers.
