With my eyes covered I can once again feel safe. No one can see right through me or peer into my heart like an open window. For these eyes are not of the ordinary, they seem to allow anyone who looks into them to read my heart. No longer exposed and left open to the world, I can once again walk with security.

The author's comments:
If you have read everything on my page you know that I have a weakness. Nearly everyone I know has told me that my eyes give everything away about me. I feel open and exposed when I can't cover my eyes. People tell me I have beautiful eyes, but I don't like to let anyone see them. I went three weeks without my sunglasses, which are like my lifeline. And once I finally got them back I wrote this.
