Pulling you gently closer to the edge
Pay no attention to the warnings up ahead

You breathe in the sweet smell of death
 And take your final step
You smile while being torn limb from limb

Your soul in Death's icy grip
 So sweet
 So sweet...

You like to talk about death, don't you??? I mean, I'm not trying to get into you personally, I've just noticed that as a trend in your writing... Kinda decided to stalk you... well, just your work I mean.
Anyway, your poetry far exceeds your fiction. I think it's because poetry doesn't have to have a story. It can be just a string of words creating an emotion, and you do that lovely here in this piece. This is very well done. I loved it. Very disturbing (but in a good way :))
