"No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be the true."- Natheniel Hawthorne.

You don't know how much it pains me
You don't know how much I cry
The fact that you’re killing yourself
Makes me want to die.

The smoke lingers in your clothes
Weed in your teeth
White stuff in your nose.

Your mother,
Your friends- I mean they're whispering in the halls,
Your sister,
Your brother.
We all know.

You can't deny it.
It DOES show.

Is it cool?
Is it fun?
Let me tell you..
What you've won..

Congratulations,
here's a free nose bleed
and black lips (they're hot),
here's some pain,
and rotting teeth,
and cancer,
you may even get blood clot.

Don't forget loss of respect
and the biggest prize of all..
death!

I have a few friends that smoke and it kills me inside that they do..I didn't get to put all my feelings in this one poem..It's not my best, but I just...I just want them to stop.
