Just as an infant
from a mother's womb,
we are naked to the world.
Defiled with crimson
streaks of sin inherited
from mistakes made by
generations past
and generations
to come, we must
humble ourselves,
risen from the grime,
to survive this
concrete jungle of
twisting lies and
corruption, spun
from the Thief himself,
in hope of a higher
seat in a utopia
sought to come.
