I know your lies so very well
They are the foundation on which my hope is built on
Deceiving myself makes me feel real, and trusting you is my biggest deception
I relay on the comfort of your words and the sureness of your plans
As far as I’m concern only the truth comes from this man
The smile you flash
The gleam in your eye
Tells me things are alright although I know it’s a lie
