Painful memories
Rush through her head
Because she knows
That he is dead
She knows she'll never see his smile
His number
She will never dial
Because she knows there'll be no voice
Just silence
Such a solemn noise
There was something wrong
She didn't know
But the signals that he would show
She blamed herself
She couldn't see
The torment
People's vanity
With harsh words
Yeah, he was slain
His suicide
He died in vain

The author's comments:
When people read this, they think that it's a true story. I have lost a friend to suicide (R.I.P.), but this particular piece was just something that popped into my head.
