Little monsters on the wall
Screaming softly as they fall
Landing gently on your bed
Slithering slowly by your head
Whispering secrets in your ear
Sharing stories full of fear
Little monsters behind the door
Boldly parading across the floor
Watching patiently as you sleep
Growing closer as they creep
Little monsters in your mind
Curiously wondering what they'll find
Dropping eire thoughts to ponder
Leaving footprints as they wander
Dancing joyfully through your dream
Plotting and planning their next scheme

you are awesome captain! i love you for writing this! i cant believe it wasn't in the mag. i love the rhyming scheme and how all the words just fit right in. i also love the last line. this is awesome! mind you that exclamation marks are not very common in my vocabulary. do your dance captain.
