chased me off
magnetic force
i sometimes wonder
if i am here anymore

losing dreams
kissing sorrow
listening in bed
to myself in my head

insanity rains
and showers us all
walk out of the rain
and stay dry

am i still here?
or is it just a shell
my spirit going to wander
away

pulling me closer
pushing me away
wanting me to leave
wanting me to stay

am i here anymore
ore just a dream
a shallow resemblance
of selfish means
