Carpe diem quam minime credula postero (Seize the day, trusting as little as possible in the future)
And if not now, when?

What do blind people dream about?
Can they long for something they've never had?
Or do they hope for what is unknown
To those of us limited by our sight?
What do blind people think about?

Can deaf people talk to themselves
If they've never heard their own voices?
Silenced, muted from the rest of the world
Hearing only the heartbroken music of thir mind
Can deaf people talk to themselves?

Do mute people still have a voice?
But its just never been put to use?
Or do they have so much inner emotion to express
That it all erupts in one strange garbled noise?
Perhaps they've every tool they need to make themselves heard
And they are just wiser than the rest of us
Than to pollute our world with rambles?
Do mute people still have a voice?

If people are considered brain - dead,
Then are they also soul - dead too?
Or are they still there, deep inside
In the shadows of the heart that the mind cannot reach?
Caught in a sick limbo,
With God gently pulling them closer
While here on earth, we refuse to let go
If people are considered brain - dead,
Then are they soul - dead too?

You decide.
