You call me pumpkin
And you say you'll be my squash
You held my hand
And took me in your arms
You framed a heart with your fingers
And I fell for your charms
Here my love still lingers
And it's fun and games to you
Whatever hope I have has pained me
And I have no choice but to pursue
Is it all for play baby?
Or do you feel something too?
I remember you said
"I like him"
"I love him"
And now you say "Hey pumpkin"
And I say "Hey squash"
Months ago it would've been lust
But when I say now that I need to have you
