LOVE At The Battle Field
If loves a battle field,
 Then I’m losing,
 Big time.
And its time for me to retreat.
But they say all is fair
 In love and war.
 But its not.
 Because
 As usual
 The pretty, popular girls
 get the handsome popular guys,
 And those types of guys
Don’t give average low life’s one glance of interest.
 Unless your mad pretty
Or you have an awesome personality,
 Prepare to watch your
 heart get broken in two.
 So what’s more painful?
 Someone gauging your eyes out
 Or watching your love,
 Love someone else?
 Its eternal pain,
 You have to swallow,
 You have to fight,
 Alone.
I’m tasting hot, thick, salty, liquid,
 In my mouth,
 All this love talk
Is making me bite my tongue off!
 Ugh!
 Love is so overrated,
 So cliché,
 So spontaneous and cumbersome.
 Love is so…
 So…
 Beautiful. Yes, beautiful.
Love is for the lucky ones.
 So you get the picture?
 Love is not always fair,
 In love and war,
 Because if its fair,
 How come I’m retreating?

is the truth."
