Let them go

We have to let them go
We said our sad goodbyes
And wrote each other lullabies
But we have to let them go
They may fill our dreams
And as strange and comforting as it seems
They are in fact just dreams
And we have to let them go
Maybe on day we will see them again
Shinning as bright as we remember
But for now we might not want to
But we must let them go
Before them tear us apart from the inside out.
