Caught in a moment
Held in each other’s gaze
So much emotion
In so little days
And it is something
I can’t explain
As you hold my hand
It feels like fate
Everything simply
Led to you
And to that second
When our eyes met
When our worlds collided
So many near misses
Until alas we crashed
Into a sparkle of stars
And rainbow dust.
My destiny had your name,
My future was always you.
