Remembering You
You.
 Why did you do it?
You could have just walked away.
How did you stay so many times?

 Was it really necessary,
 to save the dying girl?
 Like all the others,
 you should have just watched.

 You wouldn't have gotten hurt
 time and time again.
 You loved me,
 but it wasn't enough.

 Remembering you,
 is like remembering life.
 I cannot erase
 the memories.

 The fun of the facepaint
you wouldn't let me put on your face.
 In the end,
you got the stripes on your face.

 Sitting in your room,
 or on the phone,
 spending countless hours,
 just talking.

 I remember it,
 I remember you.
I remember every second of it.
 It hurts, remembering you..
