It was a secret

Our thing was a secret..
nobody was supposed to know
because they would tear us apart..
and rip our hearts to bits and pieces..
We weren't lying!
We were just keeping a promise!
but we blinked too many times..
and when we noticed..
when I noticed..
our secret wasn't a secret anymore..
It was open news to the public..
and all I could do was hide..
I feel my cheeks flaming
full of embarrassment..
tear drops fall
messing up the whole secret..
