I’ve been running so long that
I lost myself and forgot where I was going
I run cause I’m angry, and
I run cause I’m hurt
each days sorrow keeps me
running towards tomorrow
I run for the protection
of myself, and
I run from yesterday’s problems
but today, I just run for the hell of it
I run until my legs collapse
from the burden I carry
that is when I crawl back home,
weak and weary
