Out of grasp
On the edge of Mind’s peripheral vision
It lingers
Oblivious to its host’s distress
Playful Thought defies all commands
It laughs at the idea of returning
It scoffs at the prospect of learning
And without its presence the host is lost
The thought floats on outwards
Ignoring the cost.
