Glass of Love

A glass of my love sits on your table,
And you ignore it
A glass of my love sits on your table,
And it ages
A glass of my love sits on your table,
Begging for you to take a tiny sip.
It’s asking:
Asking for you:
For you to drink it,
To just take one sip
And realize you love me.
The glass falls off the table and spills
On the ground.
You decide you want a taste
Only one drop remains in the glass
It tastes delicious
You ask for more
But there are no free refills.

"The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane." --Marcus Aurelius

This is a great metaphor!  I don't know much about poetry, but I do know this is excellent.  Good job! :)
