Sitting on the shore line,
awaiting appraisal,
squandering my soul,
as love apprehends it.

Sitting on the shore line,
to conceive such a thought,
this bliss be told,
to possess affection.

Sitting on the shore line,
arrival of my mate,
destined for passion,
may God not smite us both.
Sitting on the shore line,
Stand, I rise in the east,
Fall, I set in the west,
FIGHT OUR WAR AROUND US!
