My dark corner

My Dark Corner,
Knows me well enough,
To shape my body
Into its walls.
My Dark Corner,
Is stained enough,
No need to think
Why I like sitting here.
My Dark Corner,
Is home enough,
Away from my father’s
Unsympathetic behavior.
My Dark Corner,
Is a coffin enough,
Where I have died
From my father’s blows.
My Dark Corner,
Is a corner enough,
For another young girl
Who has another chance.
My Dark Corner,
Is protection enough,
I will protect
The new girl.
For never may she
Sit in my Dark Corner.
