Sadness in the silence
but it's quiet hardly ever
am I happy all the time
I can't say always or never
although you bring a smile
from some very happy thoughts
if you think I'm always happy
then I guess you haven't caught
how I can be pretty moody
or sometimes kind of down
but at times it isn't noticable
'cause I fear you'd start to frown
since my moods are contagious
I keep them hidden away
and I really shouldn't do that
'cause of the price I'll have to pay
so if I share my feelings
don't let them make you sad
you should just keep on listening
and you should stay very glad
I'd be happy very very quick
so it won't feel so bad
to be "very happy sick"
