Earthquake
I’m shaking, not breaking, but this breeze is breath taking.
I’m hanging on, I’m bleeding, and pleading, I swear, I’m hanging on.
The world is being ripped to shreds, the rain is pouring, and maybe hailing,
I’m feeling sick, I feel like wailing.
 But here I am,
 Still standing.
 Still breathing.
 Not worthless, I’m defeating.
 Not crawling, I’m standing.
 Still breathing, I’m defeating.
 I’ll stand tall,
 My world will fall,
I’ll watch it rip, I’ll watch it shatter, but if I’m still here, all that won’t matter.
