Stolen look pass the time.
Catching.
Cheeks flaring.
A silent plea,
Ignored.
Waiting for him
To talk.
Silence.
How could he put a veil
Over what he felt?
How could she adore him,
When all he did was lie?
Priceless words wander.
She fights in the battle of love.
But does he?

My own personal experience. It sucks a lot. Enjoy!

I am aware that my poem could be better in ways, but I wrote this while I was in my class looking at the one I love. It is a true and honest poem, and those are the same questions I was asking myself in class.

Thank you for replying.

I like the idea here, and the emotion is very clear, but I think with a bit more imagery, and fewer rhetorical questions, the poem could be stronger.
