Problems swarm
Bee’s searching for payback after the order of their ritual ridden kingdom was disturbed
Buzzing wildly as it blends together
A constant nagging solo
Humming a single note
But it’s time to leave now
A manmade white bird
Sit, take your place in a sea of stories
Each going somewhere
Each face; a different tale
For now all one body, one unit
all harboring the same risks
babies crying, sisters chatting, music belting
the machines wheels start turning
a marathon runner starts his trek slow
faster and faster
pressure falls
lifting higher and higher
off the ground
the haunting hum is silenced
entranced by the feeling of freedom
the dizziness of weight leaving
Gasoline guzzlers and mansions
Seem as little as a cheap kids toy
Sustained now at an unreachable altitude
Looking down on a sea of white whips
Circling endlessly
Clearing the mind of
The inability to sustain this rebellious state
The unavoidable downward slope to your destination, purposely ignored
All lingering in the delicate moments of the unbound.
