It does not matter how you wait
Or how much/how long you wait.
It doesn't matter whether you choose to wait
Or if you're forced to wait.
It does not make a difference
If you're waiting a predetermined amount of time
Or if the duration is unknown.
All that matters is what you're waiting for.
You're just sitting there.
Hoping. Praying. Wishing.
Dreaming. Fantasizing. Imagining.
Longing. Yearning.
Begging. Pleading.
But still waiting nonetheless.
