Fake light

“ How very naive you are only seeing the world through rose petals…”
“I do not,” I replied calmly
“I will not argue with you”
“Who said anything about arguing- look I do see the worlds thorns and know that it is a very horrific place indeed-but I also know that there is good in the world-not much but still there is. And if you give up on that good and only see darkness you are even blinder then those seeing fake light.”
