For one night I'll look at you
And I'll wonder who you are
Are you my prince charming
Who I'll admire from afar?
I can't wait to meet you
So I'll wander up all shy
But you'll float off with Cinderella
Leaving me without a goodbye
And so thats how my night ended
Without a hand in mine
And one heart not mended
It wasn't my night to shine
