"I just want to be wonderful." --Marilyn Monroe

It's 1969; I'm free like a wild horse.

I see nothing but Janis.

I hear nothing but Hendrix.

I smell nothing but smoke.

I taste nothing but a scream.

I touch nothing but sky.

It's 1969 and I'm free.

The author's comments:
I wrote this piece because I'm fascinated with the 1960s. It was such a beautiful time, and I want to share this poem and the time period with others to enjoy.

THAT is cool.

I love the 60's too! The Hippie Generation is one of my favorite things!

Loved it!
