To my dearest boy,
I have a question.
What would you say,
If i told you i loved you?
would you turn your back,
and pretend not to hear?
would you leave me
the next chance you had?
what would you do
if i told you i need you?
would you act as though
i'd never spoken/
or act as though i wasn't there?
what would you do
if i told you my secrets?
would you betray my trust?
to my dearest boy;
there is only one question
that i want to ask:
will you be there for me
for forever?
