I'm just your average girl,
There"s nothing really special about me
I'm not what you would call pretty
I do have a lot of friends
And I like to laugh
I don't like to be the center of attention
I prefer to hide
I cover my flaws in make-up
And I care too much about what people think or say
I am naive and gullable
And at times I'm very clumsy
I find it had to look into peoples eyes
for fear they may not like what they see
I cannot trust anybody
I've been hurt too many times My heart has been stolen
Ripped apart and broken
But if stop and think about it
And take the time to look
Im crying out for help
Looking for someone who actually understands
So, if I refuse to show the real me
Then stop me
