Through summer’s golden haze, and winter’s gentle cold,

The magnolia stands proud, both charming and bold.

With leaves so glossy, radiant in their glow,

She is the spirit our hearts all know.

In the Pelican State, where rich stories unfold,

Magnolia blossoms in twilight’s soft gold.

Unfurling her grace as the evening dreams grow,

Where bayous weave and rivers slow.

Magnolia blooms with a noble hope,

Petals like angel wings, pure and white as snow.

Her fragrance drifts, serene and aglow,

She fills our joy, she crowns our soul.

O majesty clad in petals of gold,

A symbol of love, renewal untold.

Magnolia, our flower, our hope ever whole,

Your beauty eternal, a wonder to behold.
