Ink on my heart
You are the point I'm tethered to,
what do I do if you unearth yourself?
You are the place I find my home,
now where do I go to find myself?
The paint in your eyes is on my heart,
how do I risk it fading away?
When a look at you defines my smile,
then how do I that distance brave?
The calm I seek is in your voice,
what do I do when its too far to reach?
My soul aches for your touch,
what do I do when its you I need?

This poem has a melancholy romantic theme. I wrote this piece when I got to know that my romantic interest was moving away.
