The rushing colors
The twirling sounds
The feel of your hand in mine
Knowing that all was right in the world
But…
No one can fall forever
And I hit the ground
Broken
Bleeding
You grew wings and flew away
Your hand left mine
In the bottom of the abyss
I lay alone with my scars
