The Everlasting Inferno
The sky, once shrouded with clouds
Stretching far across the sky
The thickness of them let in no light
Not a single ray of sunlight entered,
Only one light below was left
The floor was cold, and the world was grim
Color was gone and the final light was dim
By and by, it would’ve gone out
I know that now, without a doubt
As the light shone even less than before,
It was as if something opened up, a door
Light finally broke through the dark thick clouds
Yet, this wasn’t the sun
It brought back the color and lit up the world
The dimming light formed into a tiny flame
This light evoked feelings the light has never felt before
It brought eternal sunshine, reassurance, and kindness
The flame never experienced these, as much, with anyone else
Not long after, this flame turned to an unstoppable inferno
What if felt for this light couldn’t be held back
Not even if some-days it felt some slack
One day, the light told the blaze what it longed for
Something that couldn’t simply be bought at a store
Someone on they want to adore
Not only did the inferno want this too
It’s the only thing it wanted to do
This action drove every single cloud away,
The feelings overwhelmed them to stay
The flame will always stay lit for the light
Even if it is to leave,
This inferno will stay burning forever
