Wandering
I shall roam the world with my soul in tow—
A pilgrimage to redeem my own being.
Nothing I own but this self I bear;
I shall wander to the edge of the world
And never return,
Forever…
Alone, I’d stand in Ushuaia,
A place I’ve longed to reach.
To watch Drake Passage roar and churn,
To hear two oceans clash and chime.
Perhaps I’d linger on the shore,
Dreaming of a final leap—
Yet I remain among the living,
While my soul drowns in the endless sea,
Swept away by the drifting currents,
To perish there,
And sink into the deep.
