Beyond the pain:
This empty feeling.
Things are great.
The sun still shines,
The moon still glows,
The stars still twinkle,
The bow still colourful,
The sky—still vast.
Sleeping with no tears,
Silence can never heal.
But the pain, the scars,
The wounds—fading,
As time does it's part.
Nights pass, days go by,
Weeks turn into months.
The sudden urge
To heal, forgive,
To let go, be kind,
To live,let live,
To love, be happy—
With everything,
Including me.
The sun is bright—
So am I.
The moon shines—
So do I.
The sky is my limit.
Now, the sky is mine.

This poem is about rediscovering light after darkness — learning that healing takes time, and that self-love is one of the bravest things we can choose.
