Tired
I am tired, so very tired,
Tired of seeing days go by and having endless nights,
Seeing nothing, but unlimited sights
Sleep takes little to no effort so why does it seem?
I feel as if I'm afraid of everything
As they say, it's as easy as 1...2...3
I still can't comprehend, I'm stunned to speak,
So I lay there with my eyes closed mindlessly counting sheep
Leaping over and over my head, yet, nothing seems to be sweet…
As sweet as candy as sweet as love,
I look at the imaginary stars from up above
But still, I am tired and morally inspired
To close my eyes and try again because
Nothing… Nothing at all is Something as simple as sleep…
