I Fear
I fear,
The hiding place of shadows
That shivers underneath my spine
reminding me of what I cannot change.
I run,
From the swirl of loneliness
that sounds like black cold smoke
suffocating me.
I seek,
A new idea
The one that feels like a bright star
shining above me.
I hope,
If I jump into the present,
I’ll land on the path
I’ve always dreamed
of going to.

I fear, I run, I seek, and I hope are all things that one day I wish happen or once already have.
