Evolving in the Shadows

Sometimes, the weight of the world

Can become too much to hold,

And we find ourselves disappearing,

Lost in the thoughts that we've sold.

But disappearing doesn't have to be the end,

It can be a chance to begin again,

To work on ourselves, to grow and heal,

And to find the strength that we thought were concealed.

We can take a step back, and breathe in deep,

To let go of the thoughts that we no longer need to keep,

And focus on the things that truly matter,

The ones that will help us climb the ladder.

It's okay to disappear for a while,

To work on ourselves, and find our smile,

To rediscover the parts that we've lost,

And find our way back, at any cost.

And when we reappear, we'll be stronger than before,

With a renewed sense of self, and so much more,

We'll have faced our fears, and come out on top,

With a newfound sense of purpose, and hope that won't stop.

So let us disappear, when we need to disappear,

To work on ourselves, and face our fears,

And when we reappear, we'll be shining bright,

Ready to take on the world, and fight with all our might.
