The Man in the Mirror
Who is the best but the man in the mirror,
Who stands so tall when it’s a bit clearer?
There is no one else who could be better,
For you are the greatest, o’ man in the mirror.
Though the fog does make you look weak,
It couldn’t be that you’re really weak…
Your body is a temple, and your mind a well.
Your soul is refined, you could make it through hell.
At least that is what you would like to believe,
But the man in the mirror must now take his leave.
Maybe you’re not quite as great as you thought?
But maybe you can just give what you’ve got.
Sometimes the fog parts and you see what you need,
But sometimes you’ve got to go out and seek
Something that makes you truly unique.
So listen to me and take careful heed,
The man in the mirror’s not everything,
The man on the inside is everything.
