High School Hell 高校生の地獄
高校生の地獄
i.
My high school experience was like a new life
Like I’d been reincarnated
Born happy, and everything was fine
Slowly everything declines
The realization of the pain of this world
The earthly desires of inhumane humans
And the disease creeping up on humanity
Little by little
Not just COVID
We are already sick with the weight of our sins
And maybe ourselves
And it gets worse with every revolution
Around the sun
ii.
The death of a personality
The weight of my body falls away
As easily as the people fall from disease
I am born anew
The second year of hell
Passes online.
iii.
A new light
The world opens again
Slowly but surely
Like progress on ourselves
Masks come off
The savory smell of fresh air in the cleanest state
In the dirtiest country
It might not have a specific smell
But it makes you feel whole again
A sense of relief with each breath
Finally back without a shield to block it
The third year
A new person emerges from his cocoon
But at the same time his captivity
Into a jail cell called school
iv.
The final year of the sentence
It is normal again
Except it isn’t
The earth has stopped flatlining
But the people haven’t
The masks are gone
But the racism isn’t
Injustice in society
And in education
And as graduation is near
I start to wonder
Will we ever graduate from ourselves?
