Ghost
I liked you, I really did.
You made me smile in ways no one could. I was like a jar, and you opened my lid.
You made me feel happy in a way everyone should.
But one day, those smiles, they were no more.
My happiness quickly began to fade.
I began locking my emotions behind a padlocked door.
Seeing you walk by, not even holding a gaze.
It was something I never thought you would do.
I was filled with sadness, numbness, and rage.
You ghosted me for a reason I don't even think YOU knew.
We were both so happy, so when did things change?
You were the person I thought I knew the most.
But one day you were just gone.
I never thought you'd become a ghost.
But i guess I was simply just wrong.
