Everything is black, gray, and white.

The colors are very bland. 

Nothing is bright and bold.

Everything is just boring and blurry at times.,

Will I see color? 

What is life like seeing color?

Surprise! 

My life is about to change! 

I got color-blind glasses!,

At first, it was very odd.

I thought I was dreaming or was I?

I felt like I was in a multiverse, 

All these colors made my head hurt. 

I couldn’t process what was happening.

At first, I wanted to take my glasses off. 

There was so much color I didn’t know what to do.

School was overwhelming and bright.,

Color was everywhere I looked. 

I couldn't handle it at first. 

It took me time for me to truly appreciate my new gift.

I didn't realize how much I was missing.

The land of black, gray, and white was gone,

There is so much beauty in the world.

There is so much color in the world,

When my brain finally adjusted I could truly see it all. 

I am grateful for my gift now. 

Color is awesome.
