Autobiography
O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done;
The ship has weather'd every rack, the prize we sought is won;
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring:
But O heart! heart! Heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
Our time in school is ending soon,
A trip that started back in Kindergarten.
We spent 6 years in elementary school,
Upton Elementary for me.
We worked hard,
Learning to read, write, and do math,
While being nice to each other.
We went from calling all of our classmates “friends”,
To having real friendships.
Next came middle school at ROMS.
We spent just 3 years there.
Times got hard,
Classes got harder.
We experienced a lot,
And had to grow up fast.
And then, 4 years of high school,
And now its almost done.
I struggled more in high school,
With Covid and a concussion,
My life was never the same.
Its been hard,
And I tried as best I could.
My dreams were not like this,
But I am proud of what I’ve accomplished.
Another fresh start comes this Fall,
I hope I can achieve at Oakland University.

I enjoyed writing about my early life and what I hope to achieve the same in college and grow up to be successful there too.
