the girl you think about

day and night.

The girl that looks pretty

no matter what day it is.

It's a secret I must keep

deep inside.

But I really care

would you mind if I tried? 

I don't want to be the side chic

that blows everybody away.

is that hard to say? 

My eyes glisten as you

talk back. 

But my laugh

hides more

than the view you see.

People call me the perfect girl.

The girl nobody hates.

But is that the title

I want at stake? 

Everything seems perfect

except on the inside

where I'm screaming

"I want to die". 

I guess that's the cost of being perfect,

you can't please everyone.

Not even a little weep

can be heard a few feet away.

Is this what the world has become?

Blind to its own beauty?

I'm not the perfect one here!!

It's the world, that we all take for granted.

What if one day, the world decides to crumble

will you save me from the rubble

or save yourself, like any sane person would? 

Maybe I should stop rambling

it's probably getting tiring. 

But I have one last thing to say

am I the perfect girl

or a figment of your imagination? 

Am I perfect?

Or flaws that are seen? 

...Sad to say...

I wish I was perfect.
