She Was Born to Love Not to be Loved
I know you're tired of hearing about it
But imagine how tired she is of feeling it.
She loves as strong as the ocean waves crashing against the shore
But you never cared for the beach.
Her fists banged against the door to your heart
Only to find out your heart was missing.
In her mind your eyes were diamonds worth more than the moon and the stars
But they were never looking at her.
You saw yourself as an achilles heel
But she thought you were one of the strongest people she knew.
Who is she without he
Why is he okay without she
When her heart was red (symbolizes love)
But his was yellow (symbolizes betrayal/deception).
Two times too many has the game played her
Two times more she will let it happen
Because your absence screams in her ears
Telling her to reach out to you
But the pain of knowing she will never be her will eventually kill her
Because he will always be him to her.
Only when she closes her eyes are they meant to be
But what happens when she no longer craves sleep?
