Your Beauty
For I know the Earth is waiting for you to die, so it may to keep you for itself. I know the air waits for you to exhale, so it may claim to have your breath. I know the sun shines down on you so that one day you may look up and shine your face back. The stars watch over you by night to admire the complexity of your features. I know the hills and valleys marvel at the intricate design of your face. I know the clouds in the sky look down upon you and wonder to themselves how you move so gracefully. And I know the roses in bloom try to copy the pleasance of your company. But all these things couldn't appreciate you as much as I do.
